From a young age I have always been very sporty, playing any sort I could throughout my childhood, but mainly football – now playing at a semi-professional level. After school I went on to complete a 2-year course in ‘Level 3 Sports Science’, this is where I was first introduced to the fitness industry. I have been in this industry for around 6+ years now, in which I began completing 100+ hours of work experience during my college years. I stepped into the gym at the raw age of 16 and realised my passion that I had for health and well-being. Whilst doing my work experience, I went on to gain my ‘Level 2 + 3 Personal Training’ qualification, giving me the opportunity to work in a gym. I then worked in a gym full time for 2.5 years, putting what I learnt on my course into practice, with real people.
Why Choose Us?
In 2018, I decided that it was time to take it to the next level, which is when I created CI Fitness. Since starting on my own, I have gained a ‘Level 4 Advanced Nutrition & Weight Management Diploma’. I helped a number of people reach their goals – ranging from weight loss, strength gain and just general health, physically and mentally. The way I look at fitness is different to a lot of personal trainers. My main focus is not to be in the gym 24/7 and give 100% effort all of the time. I recommend people to make small changes which impacts their health/well-being. This way, things are a lot more achievable and maintainable – still allowing yourself to do whatever you enjoy but still reaching your goals. This emphasises my main message, ‘Be Happy’. I believe that happiness is the most important thing in the world, which is why I love my job.
